AUTOMOTIVE MECHANIC MASTERY CERTIFICATE

This is a training program aimed at providing competencies for maintenance and repair of motor vehicles’ engine, transmission, and control systems.

An Automotive Mechanic is a person who repairs faults occurring in the fuel, ignition, cooling, lubrication, and valve systems of the engine; power transmission components; front suspension, brake, and steering systems of motor vehicles such as cars, trucks, and buses; and performs maintenance and repair of the vehicle’s lighting and warning devices.

 

A Person With This Competency;

  • Performs norm, lettering, numbering, line, and geometric drawing applications according to standards and rules, creates projection drawings, produces and draws views of given parts in perspective, measures the drawn drawings, and draws developments and cross-sections of various geometric parts.
  • Performs basic mechanical operations and vehicle maintenance.
  • Performs basic electrical-electronic circuit operations of motor vehicles.
  • Reads assembly and motion transmission components, running-in and tolerance, surface processing marks, complete drawings, and catalogs.
  • Performs maintenance and repair of engine parts.
  • Performs maintenance and repair of motion transmission and control systems.
  • Performs maintenance and repair of fuel and ignition systems of gasoline and diesel engines.
  • Diagnoses faults of vehicles.

 

Where Are the Work Areas?

It is a preferred profession to work in the Automotive Mechanic field.

Automotive Mechanics have opportunities to open their own workplaces as well as work in auto service stations, factories, airport ground maintenance stations, public institutions’ machinery parks, municipal bus enterprises, General Directorate of Highways repair and maintenance workshops, and gas stations.

Nowadays, auto maintenance and repair workers are transitioning into various specialties (auto electrical/electronics, front suspension, engine rebuilding, etc.).

Due to recent changes in job distribution, these professionals are especially responsible for maintenance and repair of heavy and light vehicles.

Certification

Participants who successfully complete the training will be awarded, optionally, an internationally recognized IATELS (International Association for Technology, Education and Language Studies) certificate or a certificate bearing the Asilzade Education logo.   

Additionally, upon request;

European Council Approved (British Educational Affairs) certificate,

ICCW (International Certification Center Of The World) certificate,

and e-Government and university-approved certificates will also be provided for an additional fee.
